…a voice of majestic proportion, smooth as silk. The Duchess gave her ample opportunity to almost steal the show.

Elaine Fox jumped into the role of Rosina with two hours notice and sang the role from the pit. A remarkable achievement.
Paul Horsley
The Kansas City Star
Elaine Fox has a beautiful classical voice, which is no wonder since she has performed in operatic roles all over the country.

Her duet with Amy Coady on the “Silent Night/O Holy Night” combination was stunning. I heard a gentleman behind me whisper, “That was beautiful,” as the number was ending. Her second act song, “God Bless My Family” was tremendously powerful; there was hardly a dry eye in the house.

Vocal Method

Free and Supported

Elaine teaches a free, supported vocal technique that engages the entire body. She works with students to sing on the breath with a supported tone. When open throat is understood in a buoyant and flexible way, students are able to sing in a spontaneous manner that allows them the freedom to be connected dramatically to text and deliver an engaging performance. All of her students are guided to a technique that allows them the freedom to express themselves, regardless of the style of music — musical theatre, classical, pop, jazz, etc.
